            Planning Your Hunt

            • Hunters must have a valid Wisconsin archery hunting license. Go to dnr.wi.gov or any DNR retail partner to get your Crossbow license.

You do not need a special Disabled Permit for this hunt.

            • Each hunter is required to have one companion along for general assistance.

            • Hunts will be conducted out of wheelchair accessible ground blinds with transportation provided.

            • We provide the crossbows and tripod/bipods....or you can bring your own.

            • You and your guide will discuss expectations in advance for which deer – bucks and does – are eligible for harvest.
This will vary from season to season as the deer are managed for long term sustainability.  We may also have landowner doe permits available.

            • This is not a trophy hunt, and although there are good bucks in the area, don’t expect to take a trophy buck on this hunt.

            • If you do harvest a deer, it will be field dressed for you to take to your butcher. If you would rather not keep your deer,
it can be donated it to Wisconsin’s Hunt for the Hungry.
